§1 General
These Terms and Conditions apply to every order you place with the Liza Sew Online Shop (business executive: Lisa Schmalhofer). The range of products specifically comprises hand-crafted, unique products which require delicate handling. If you have questions about certain products, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are happy to answer your questions before and after the purchase.
§ 2 Conclusion of Contract
The article costs valid at the time of ordering apply. All prices are final prices plus delivery costs. We have the right to not accept the order if, for example, the ordered goods are not available. In this case, we will inform you about the non-acceptance of your order by email. We are not liable for their admission. Payments we may have already received will be returned immediately. The representations of the Liza Sew products on the website are nonbinding. They may slightly differ from their actual appearance.
§ 3 Time of Delivery and Consummation
Orders are usually packed and dispatched 1-2 business days after the receipt of payment. Delivery is usually made within 10 business days at the receiver’s cost and risk. If we are unable to deliver the goods in time, we will inform you immediately by email. Claims for damages due to delay, impossibility of performance and circumstances beyond our control are excluded unless intentional or grossly negligent conduct was involved.
§ 4 Prices
The article and delivery costs valid (in Euros) at the time of ordering apply. The price is constituted of the order value, the delivery costs and other price components. All prices include value added tax at the statutory rate. In countries outside the EU additional VAT and custom charges may apply. Those are not included in the price and are to be paid by the customer.
§ 5 Cancellation Policy
You may cancel this contract within 14 days without giving reasons. This 14-days-period is effective from the day you or third parties, which are authorized by you and are not the carrier, have accepted the goods. The customer bears the immediate costs of the redispatch. Goods produced according to customer’s specification and/or goods produced to the customer’s personal need fall only partly within the cancellation right. You may use the enclosed specimen form, which is, however, not compulsory. In order to keep the cancellation period, it is sufficient to send us the cancellation in written form within the cancellation period.
Consequences of the cancellation:
If you cancel this contract, you will receive a refund of the complete purchasing price excluding the incurred delivery costs within 14 days starting from the day we have received your cancellation. The return will be refunded with the same payment method that was used for the purchase, unless we have explicitly agreed on another method. We may refuse the refund until we got back our goods. The cancellation period is met as long as you return the goods by the deadline of the cancellation period, namely within 14 days. You bear all charges of the return consignment. You may be charged for a possible loss of value if, after an examination of the condition, characteristic and functionality of the goods, this loss of value can be traced back to an improper handling of the goods on the part of you.

§ 6 Delivery Costs
All indications of prices imply the addendum: “plus delivery costs”. You will be informed about the exact delivery costs during the ordering process and before you complete the ordering process. Provided that it is not regulated differently, we charge a fixed rate amounting to 5,00 Euros for orders within Germany. Internationally, the fixed rate amounts to 8,50 Euros provided that it is not regulated differently. Our shipping partner in Germany is DHL http://www.dhl.de/de.html
Customs expenses, import and export charges of orders outside the EU will be charged to the customer.
§ 7 Transport Damage and Indemnity
If packing of the delivery is defective, the customer is obliged to have the common carrier confirm the damage on receipt in written form and has to inform us immediately that the customer has accepted the delivery under reserve due to defective packing. Also, the customer has to inform us immediately in writing about transport damages found after unpacking. There is no right to damages irrespective of the legal basis, as long as they are not based on intention or gross negligence.
§ 8 Reservation of Ownership
If you are an individual consumer, we reserve the ownership of the goods until full payment of the invoice amount is made. If you are an independent or a commercial entrepreneur, a corporate body under public law or public separate estate, we reserve the ownership of the goods until the settlement of all outstanding debts of the business relation with the purchaser. If the buyer fails to keep the conditions of this contract, we reserve the right to cancel the contract and to reclaim the goods.
§ 9 Terms of Payment
You can pay in advance or by PayPal.
For payment in advance, the purchase price has to be paid to the bank account indicated by us. As soon as payment has been received on the Liza Sew bank account, the goods will be delivered. If payment is not made within 30 days after the receipt of the order confirmation, the customer is in default even without any notice.
§ 10 Data Protection
If the user has the possibility to enter personal data on our website (email addresses, names, addresses, telephone numbers, etc.) the user does so on an explicitly voluntary basis.
Your personal data is only used for the purchasing process and will not be passed on to third parties. The data will only be used for purchase matters and will not be forwarded to third parties.
§ 11 Liability Note
Despite thorough checking we assume no liability for the contents of external links. Only the people who run the linked homepages are responsible for the content of their websites.

My passion for hand-crafted, individual products is what I would like to pass on to you with my label. The brand Liza Sew exists since 2012. I wanted to have cool clothes. Clothes no one else has and that’s why I taught myself how to sew, which I professionalized by doing an apprenticeship. The Liza Sew garments are crafted in Landshut, Bavaria (Germany). They are mainly produced individually, except merchandise and separately labeled articles. I am very mindful of vegan material and fair trade. I run my label with much blood, sweat and tears and pay a lot of attention to details. Since the production of the different pieces takes up a lot of time the scope of the range may vary.
